Introduction
Welcome to the beginning of what I hope will be as great an adventure for you as it has been for me. As you will see noted many times on this site, the fundamental principle under which Jesus Christ created us is that we have spiritual free will. We can thus believe or not in His existence and teachings, as we choose. So great is His love for us that He even allows us to, like Peter, deny Him, despite knowing the great cost to us in turning away from that love and its many blessings of happiness and meaning.
For those who do believe, however, there is opened up an experience that has no parallel in the rest of human life - to be taught by and relate to the Man Who created us, and all the rest of the universe too. There is no question too large and profound, no need too small and intimate, that He cannot help us. “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save.” (Isaiah 59: 1) However dark and long our path may be, whatever terrible mistakes we may have made, Jesus is ready, right now, to help us start in a new direction.
